Puck's hiatal hernia repair surgery

Puck is a sweet, tiny little fairy gremlin who was trapped at the end of March with 6 other feral cats and kittens. He was (is) the smallest and youngest of the bunch, but the scrappiest—he was underweight and sick when he came to us, but started gaining weight immediately once he was dewormed and safe

However, his foster mom noticed he vomited every day, after almost every meal, and was gaining weight very slowly. Eventually, he was diagnosed at the vet with a hiatal hernia (hole in his diaphragm) which was allowing his stomach and intestines to pop in and out of his chest—hence the vomiting. There is a surgery to repair this, but he is SO SMALL right now and can't have it yet. For now, he's in a harness so his foster mom can hold him upright after eating (or when he looks weird) to keep his intestines down where they're supposed to be. In the meantime, we need to raise about $3500 for the special surgery he will need once he's big enough. He's been through so much he never asked for and we think he is worth it

He is such a sweet little scrappy baby and loves snuggling and telling off the bigger foster boys when they come near a treat he's eating.
