PTSD awareness in honor of Nick
Donation protected
For anyone who knew Nick you loved him. He was an amazing Son, Brother, Uncle, Soilder, and Friend. Nick was always there to give anyone a hand with what ever they needed, even if it was just a listening ear or him telling you what a great person you were. While Nick helped others he struggled silently with PTSD. Nick was medically discharged from the army with testicular cancer at the age of 21. Nick beat cancer but continued the silent fight with his PTSD for years. He seeked help and had a great support group through the Vets center. I also want to thank all his friends and family that he let in and all the support they gave him. Wednesday October 3rd Nick lost his final battle. He fought so hard but just could not escape this disease. My family would like to donate money in Nicks name to various military groups such as the Wounded Warrior project, the vets center and so on. PTSD is a serious disease many people don’t understand or want to understand. It attack’s from the inside and never leaves. Nick would have wanted to help as many people as possible, and we would like to help him with that as his final gift in life. Thank you everyone and please respect my families privacy at this time while we deal with this personal matter.
