Prosthetic Leg for Amanda
Donation protected
Our 24 year old cousin Amanda recently got diagnosed with stage 2B osteosarcoma on June 29th 2017. She was going down the stairs and then she suddenly fell and with that fall came a broken left femur. Her leg wouldn’t have broken normally, but her tumor had eaten away at her bone to the point it couldn’t support her weight, and she fell. As a result of her treatment, she sadly had to get most of the left leg amputated. She started chemotherapy on July 4 and she has already had 5 chemotherapy rounds since then. Thankfully, it seems that she is on the way to recovery. The next step for her is to get a prosthetic leg. Unfortunately, her insurance does not cover all of the cost of the prosthetic leg. Now we wish and hope to raise money to help our cousin to get a new leg. If you would like, you can help us to meet our goal by donating.
