Pregnancy amongst Genocide

There is a crisis occuring as I write this.  The genocide of the Rohingyan people has forced hundreds of thousands of people to leave their homes and find refuge in foreign lands.  One such location is Bangladesh.  Men, women and children are pouring into the country only to live in squalor with little to no resources.  Pregnant women are birthing under tarps on mud, many dying in the process. 
As a midwife and labor and delivery nurse, I am planning to travel to Bangladesh in January with the organization, Midwife Pilgrim.  I will be working with local midwives, supporting their practice amongst these women.  I hope to bring with me midwifery equipment, including basic birthing kits, safe birthing supplies and educational material.  I'm asking my community to help me in this endeavor.  Thank you in advance for considering giving to this important cause!
