Hello, friends, family, and people of the internet! Time to make a record. Preacher and Daisy are asking for your help! We are trying to raise $4,000 to record and produce and distribute our EP. Those of you who have supported us over the year know that we are dedicated musicians who put a lot of time and effort into our music but have yet to record any material. After months of preparation, we are ready to commit everything to make the best record possible. If we can reach our goal, we promise to deliver a beautiful album for you all. We are very proud of our work and hope that you're as excited to hear it as we are to make it.
Here’s what we need to cover:
- Transportation - we have to fly two members of the band to Philly
- Housing in Philly
- Five days in the studio
- In studio Engineer,
- Post production, mixing, and mastering
- Disc manufacturing
$4,000 is a lot of money, and we don’t take that lightly. We plan to work as efficiently and frugally as possible. We are doing as much work independently and out of the studio ourselves to keep the costs down. Maddy Baltor, our guitarist, will be interning at a studio in LA and recording her guitar tracks there for free! We are a self-managed, unsigned band, so all the money goes directly to the music, and furthering our dream of making this record possible.
Stretch Goals:
As with anything, the more you invest, the higher the quality. Anything beyond our goal is going to go directly to producing this record and sharing our music with our audience and the world. If we can reach $6,000 we will be able to experienced engineers master the record and maybe even a producer to help guide us through the process. With your generous support, we will be able to share our music with even more people and give it the change that it deserves.
We have been putting a lot of effort to plan and organize this album so that we will be able to deliver the best sounding record possible! There are so many amazing people that have helped Preacher and Daisy get this far, people who have believed in us, fed us, and given us amazing opportunities.
