There has been a tragic plane crash on Beaver Island Saturday afternoon. Mike did not survive the accident. Laney is miraculously, the sole survivor of the plane crash.

 

Laney was airlifted to Petoskey and then transported to DeVos in Grand Rapids via ambulance. She is alert and talking and was able to tell them her moms name and phone number. She is being a trooper and so strong. There are many broken bones and injuries but most of them are ones that are going to heal on their own, another miracle!

 

So many people have reached out and offered to help. At this time go fund me is a way along with prayers.  Right now the focus is healing for Laney and the time frame is unknown.  Once we have a better idea we will announcement service arrangements.  The family is working with Gaylord Community Funeral Home.  Check contributions can be sent there in care of Christina Perdue: PO Box 249, Gaylord, MI 49734.
