Post-Surgery Disabled Craftsman 3D printing fund
Hello my name is Alton Baker and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to read my go fund me request. I am 54,and I have been disabled with a back injury in 2002. I have continued to work as a security guard and as a driver for a mental health outpatient unit. The last few years have been very hard and I missed lot’s of work due to crippling headaches. I will be having major corrective surgery on my cervical spine as soon as COVID permits. This invasive procedure will fuse my neck at four levels and I will no longer be able to drive my bus.
I am not asking for a handout, but an investment that will help me start a new business and supplement my disability income with vital earnings for medical needs, food, and bills.
my wife who is also disabled with a Brain tumor has had a home business for the last couple of years, selling used clothing. Our home office is set up and ready for me to work along side her. My goal is to make up the part time earnings from my bus driving job by crafting and selling costume pieces sculpted by a 3D printer.
This is where I need your help. The printer I am planning to use is the CR-X Pro 3D Printer at a cost of $609 and a two month supply of filament at a cost of $600 and $300 will go toward demolition of the bathroom adjacent to the home office to house the printer.
Every little bit helps, my wife and I appreciate your donation so I can start taking commissions and begin working for our future.
