Porfirio Garcia was tragically killed Sunday in a solo car accident. His truck collided with a mighty oak tree on Hwy. 198 near Farmersville. His death is devastating to his family, emotionally and financially.
Porfirio worked the night shift at a packing house in Exeter. He was a passionate and dedicated friend and training partner. He had recently overcome a long battle with obesity - losing over 120lbs. via his own grit, research, and discipline.
Porfirio found brotherhood and fellowship in Jiu-Jitsu. He was a gentle hearted warrior. We, his Jiu -Jitsu family, look to raise money to help with funeral costs. Anything left over will go to support his mother whom Porfirio lived with and financially supported.
We have less than a week to pull this off folks. Funeral home cannot wait. Let's show the power of the Jiu-Jitsu brotherhood/sisterhood and blow this up for Porfirio's Family.
