Poppy’s (Robert Alexander) Funeral

Hi, my name is Kristyn. 

I am Robert Alexander's granddaughter. Growing up, Nan and Pop, who you all know as Nola and Robert Alexander, not only gave their two children everything they could (with many trials and tribulations), they also gave my sister and I their all. 

They raised me and helped shape me to become the woman I am today. For that I will be forever grateful. They are honestly my whole world. That's why I want to do everything I can in my power to help.

 We lost Pop unexpectedly on the 28th of May to a massive heart attack. Despite having many health issues, it was still a major shock that left us all completely heartbroken. Being on a pension for many years to care for pop has been hard, but despite not having much themselves, they were such generous and giving people. That is why I would like to help give back to them.

No matter how much you think you are prepared, nothing will ever prepare you for the day you lose the love of your life and then have to face the costs that are involved. 

 We are a very humble family who hate asking for help and we certainly don’t expect to raise the full amount.Nan has the world on her shoulders so I'm hoping this will help to allow her to breathe a little easier during these really emotional and tough times.
