This is Poppy. This energetic little lady likely doesn't even realize something is wrong with her. She knows her mom has been crying and took her to the vet way too many times, but she's still been playing like everything is normal. How I wish everything was.

Poppy needs surgery. What we thought was a simple bladder infection instead revealed itself to be large bladder stones that she won't be able to pass. Thankfully, it is not life threatening yet, but things could easily move that direction if we push off the surgery. For as much as I am willing to do and give whatever I need to for her sake, the vet bill for this surgery is far more than I am able to handle.

Poppy turned five a little over a month ago, and she has greatly improved my quality of life in that time. While she can be something of a menace stealing socks and bullying us for both food and affection, she is also such an incredibly loving creature. Poppy is gentle with kids, she's kind to other dogs, and strangers to her are just people who haven't pet her yet. I have said many times since getting her that I don't understand how I managed to get such a perfect dog. She is truly the best companion anyone could have asked for.

Please, please help me save my dog.
