HELP JUNIOR RECOVER

Two weeks ago, our friend Junior was run over by a car in a Virginia Beach parking lot while on his work lunch break. Now, the insurance company of the driver is rejecting his claim and suggesting that he was partially at fault (as a pedestrian walking in a parking lot hit by a car). As a result, the insurance company of the driver has said they will pay nothing for his medical expenses or loss of income.

Thankfully he did not suffer more serious injuries but was taken from the scene in an ambulance and is now facing a $26,000 hospital bill! Junior will not be able to work for 4-6 weeks due to his damaged leg, and even when he is able to start again, he will have some challenges due to the physical nature of his job. 

As some of you know Junior works as an independent contractor, so he does not have sick days, short term disability or paid leave. 

As he hires a lawyer to dispute his claim he now has a $26,000 hospital bill he needs to pay for, and a loss of 4-6 weeks of income. 

We want to raise $6,000 to cover his basic expenses for one to two months until he can get back on his feet. Would you please contribute whatever you are able to help Junior make it through this difficult time?
