Zayed Farah ~ A Memorial

After only 124 days here on earth, I must say I was lucky to have met some wonderful people. First of whom was my twin brother, Zayd. We spent the first 9 months kickin it in mommy's womb, (he was literally always kickin it) and the next four months chillin with our big brother & sister. We had lots of fun together in our short time as a family of 6. 
      I was born significantly smaller than my twin & wasn't growing as fast as he was. After several ER visits, supplemental oxygen treatments and a week-long stay in Pediatric ICU, doctors labeled me a "failure to thrive". Mom and Dad even took me to see a nutritionist a month ago in order to get me special formula that helps me gain weight. But God had something different planned. So even though you won't see me anymore, I'll be watching over you always.
To my fun-loving father, I cherish all the quality time we spent 1-on-1 with the mid-night storytelling.
To my tender-loving-caring mother, I will miss your warm embrace & the comfort I felt all those months when you held me & smiled at me nonstop. 
To my big responsible sister, Tamara, I will miss your smile, enthusiasm & excitement while you helped take care of me. You are beautiful inside & out.
To my protective big brother, Mazen, I will miss your voice singing the songs that you passed down to us from generations. You are a great brother.
To twin brother, Zayd, we spent over a year together and I know you're going to do amazing things in life. 
     My grief-striken parents recently put their careers aside and relocated. They were in the process of getting back on their feet & renting a new home for us. When I passed away, the county came in and took my siblings into custody. Now Child Protective Services has unfairly taken custody of my brothers and sister while my parents are fighting diligently to wim them back in court.  
    If I could do anything, I would help ease their pain & sorrow and help with the expenses until they recover.  If you can donate, these funds will go towards my memorial and tombstone costs and will help with the attorney fees so that my parents and my siblings may be reunited. 
    You will get through this and you 5 will be stronger than ever! Always remember our fun car-rides together, our tricky snuggling & swaddling games, our mid-night story-time about ships, & the lullabies from Sido Mazen.
     I will miss you all, and will watch over you always. I love you for loving me.
