Everyone who knows Doug Griffin, knows that he is a great person who has faced many times of sadness. The Griffins have been faced with many unexpected losses. In October of 1998 Doug and his girls Kaylin and Shayla lost their wife/mother Lacy to a tragic car accident. In October of 2005, Doug lost his baby girl Shayla to yet another tragic car accident. This family has came through some hard times over the years.
On September 13, 2013 Kaylin gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, she namd her Lacy Shaylin Griffin after her mother and her sister. She was a bundle of joy for the family.
March 21, 2015 the family is yet faced with another tragedy.Lacy Shaylin Griffin passed away due to a tragic accident. Baby Shay was only 18 months old, full of life, full of joy, she loved to smile and dance. She was very special to her family.
The unexpected loss of a very young child must be one of the worst tragedies a family could endure. The Griffins lost baby Shay this weekend and are preparing for her final arrangements. A small contribution could help ease their unimagineable burden during this time.
