Please Help Your Local Artist

I am a Washington DC artist asking for donations to purchase a digital pressure-sensitive drawing tablet to replace the one I used to have.  As an artist, my goal is to find beauty within pain. I try to create pieces that show a different perspective of pain, refecting an opportunity to make something lovely from something that may not be traditionally seen as such. I have found in life that even in our lowest moments there is always something useful to be gained. When people look at my work I want them to decide how they feel about what they are seeing and look within themselves to find what resonates. The process of looking within and reflecting has been a useful tool in my own development. I want to help people to practice that process while gazing upon my work. My hope is they will find a way to apply that practice to their lives when struggling with pain.  I also do custom work for small businesses that need designs & logos.
