Dear friends,
This is definitely not the holiday message Kingston would not be wanting to send out so close to Christmas. Unfortunately our buddy's health has rapidly declined in the last few days. This started out of nowhere from being a perfect active pup to unable to walk.
He has been in the ER for the past 3 days with multiple diagnosises. What we thought was maybe just pneumonia has now turned into potentional spinal meningitis. At this point, Kingston has lost all neurologic function of his back legs and is in significan pain.
That being said, the doctors have informed us he roughly has a 50% chance to recover from this and we are taking all necessary medical measures to keep our little guy alive!
We know this time of season can be financially difficult for some, but at this point anything would help. Currently in just three days Kingston's medical bills have already soared over $7,000 and we are just at the beginning stages. We know there is a point in time where we have to reassess the situation as would never let Kingston suffer, but right now we are choosing to fight for him.
