Please Help Phuong Jewelry Rebuild

My name is Stewart Chen, I am the president of Oakland Chinatown Improvement Council:

On Wednesday, April 10th Phuong Jewelry was violently robbed of their livelihood. In a brazen midday attack, eight strong armed robbers and two getaway drivers broke their way into the family owned jewelry store in Oakland Chinatown. They ransacked took everything that the family has worked for in the last forty one years.

Everything was cleared out within seconds. Although they are thankful that no one was hurt, to say this is truly devastating is beyond comprehendible. Unfortunately, the family lacked insurance to cushion the blow of their inventory losses and to cover the damages done.

As a friend and valued lifetime customer, I am setting up a Gofundme campaign. Together, let’s rally the community to support and get their business back to operating. Any funds donated will go to the owner to rebuild.
