Please Help Nancy and Her Family - They Lost Everything!

Imagine you just moved into a new home with your husband, elderly mother, and partially disabled sister. You are busy unpacking, redoing floors, and working to make this new house feel like a home. And then, less than a month later, Hurricane Helene dumped so much rain that your new home flooded and you lost ALL your personal possessions—clothing, furniture, appliances, decorations, jewelry, pictures, sentimental treasures... Oh, and because your new house was in the mountains, you did NOT have flood insurance. You can only hope and pray you will be okay, that others will care and will help.

My friend and soul sister Nancy doesn't have to imagine; she just lived through that hell. She was injured during the flood and suffered a broken foot, a banged-up wrist and hip, and is trying to work with federal officials, the Red Cross, and others to begin to put her and her family's lives and home back together.

I know there are many families who are hurting right now, as the damage this storm did was widespread. And I know Nancy personally. She is a dear friend and an amazingly loving, compassionate woman, and I am asking if you can help in any way—small or large, please be generous and do what you can for Nancy and her family.

They need everything! Literally from socks and underwear to a washer and dryer and everything in between. Look around your home... imagine trying to replace everything there.
