Please help my school build a terrain de petanque

Hi, my name is Nico Philipp, and I am the French teacher at my school. I am passionate about teaching my students about French culture. I would love to build a terrain de petanque to be able to teach my students about one of the most popular sports in France. Think Bocce ball, but more French and cooler. For that, I need your help. My school can help with the building part but not the materials. I have estimated I need $2,000 worth of materials between gravel, sand, weed barrier and railroad ties to complete the build. My students will help me build it, and we will make plaques with the rules in French and in English. This would be the first court of that kind in our school district.
