Please help my friend cover his daughter's end of life costs
Donation protected
Hello.
One of my good friends, someone I've known since childhood, recently lost his 15 year old daughter due to what is likely a Fentanyl overdose.
Samantha, or Sam as we all called her, was a very loving and happy child, who unfortunately, made a very bad mistake. She died at home in her bedroom. Medics were called but they were unable to revive her. Bellingham Police Detectives are actively trying to figure out where she acquired what killed her.
Sam was like most teens. She had some difficulties, but she also had a part time job at the mall, was learning to drive, and had a boyfriend. She loved her family, which included two cats and a recently acquired bearded dragon. She loved her friends as well.
Needless to say, her dad is devastated, as is her younger brother. Their family has already had a lot to deal with. The kids' mother is a using drug addict who does not live with them and has not been an active parent for many years. My friend Tom, on the other hand, has been a great single parent, doing the very best he can. He is a para educator at an elementary school. He has devoted his life to kids, not just his own.
I am raising funds to help Tom pay for Sam's end of life costs, which will most likely be cremation.
Thank you for donating if you can.
Sincerely,
Michael
