Please Help Me Save My Little Toyota

Hello everyone,

My name is Robert, and I live in Brussels, Belgium. I’m a single dad raising my child on my own.

For nearly 10 years, I have been living with polyarthritis, an autoimmune disease, which makes walking difficult for me.

I bought my little Toyota Starlet specifically to get around and walk less.

A few weeks ago, my life took an unexpected turn. I was driving my beloved 1990 Toyota Starlet — a rare little gem with only 48,000 km (29825 miles)— when another driver suddenly cut me off and slammed on the brakes, causing an accident.

I don't know, unfortunately, how to buy a new car

This car is so much more than just transportation. It’s my only way to get our daily groceries or or go out for a while to take our minds off things.

It’s part of our family history — reliable, economical, full of memories — and it’s irreplaceable today.

Losing it would be heartbreaking, especially knowing how important it is for my child and me. Even though it can be repaired, the cost is far more than the car’s market value, and it’s a cost I simply cannot afford.
