Please Help Me Care For My Mom Sheri Mellin ❤️

My mother, Sheri Mellin, is suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s and colon cancer. I want to make sure she can stay home with me and her dog Parker as long as possible. However, she has gotten to the stage where she needs care and supervision during the hours I am at work. She has been denied twice by Medicaid and Medicare doesn’t pay for home health services. Her entire life she has never hesitated to help someone in need, give them a place to stay, give them her last $5 or even the shirt off her back. She has spent her life helping others and now she is in need of help so she can spend her remaining time comfortably at home surrounded by those she loves and not scared and alone in a nursing home or hospital.

Many of you know my mom and how for many years she watched all of the neighborhood kids and walked all of the neighborhood dogs and loved each as if they were her own.

For those of you who don’t know “Miss Sheri” personally, she is TRULY an amazing woman. She is always ready with a dog story or to laugh at your jokes, always has a smile on her face, and she has never met a stranger. Everyone who meets my mom loves her and vice versa!

I am doing everything I can to make ends meet and keep her at home with me and her “critters” so she can be in a place of comfort.

Any and all help is very much appreciated. No amount is too small and  100% of donations will go toward her home healthcare costs.
