Hi. This soldier is Pte Kotobalavu, he is currently serving in the British Army. Last week, he received the terrible news that his family and parents home in Fiji had been totally destroyed in a fire; they luckily escaped with no injuries but lost every single personal possession. Despite his emotional pain he played in the Army v Navy rugby match this week, scoring the winning try for the Army. As you can see from the remains of the property, they come from extremely humble backgrounds. Any donation would be extremely grateful to initially help with some temporary accommodation and help them purchase some basic essentials. In the long term, we hope we can raise enough to help them get back on their feet and rebuild their destroyed home.
