Hello friends and family of Pitruco,
Like so many food businesses in the region, we closed both locations of our wood-fired pizza shop suddenly a week ago. As the realization sets in that we don't know when we will reopen our doors, we are asking for help supporting for our team of hourly employees through this crisis.
If you've been to one of our locations before, you know how hard working and dedicated our crews are. Unfortunately many of them will not be able to secure unemployment compensation while our stores are closed. We are committed to supporting them through these hard times, but our small business won't be able to cover all of their lost wages for the long haul, so we are asking for donations to help sustain our employees until they can return to work. 100% of your donation goes straight to our crew, and our goal of $10k will cover 50% of lost wages for a month.
Additionally, proceeds from any gift cards sold during this time will be given to our employee fund. Cards for the truck can be purchased here , and for the food hall here .
