Phil No Fear of Horses

Spende geschützt
Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my request.  My name is Daniel French , former Army Infantry, and have been a quadriplegic for the past 10 years.   Recently, I completed an 8-week horsemanship training course with Archie Foundation for Therapeutic Horsemanship  .  My fellow veteran, Phil Quintana, was supposed to join me, but his fear of horses got the best of him.

That is, until his wife and daughter joined the course and Phil met Cactus, an 18 year old retired roping horse.  During an equine-facilitated learning session, Phil, guarded by his 8 year old son, entered the arena with 3 loose horses.  Cactus, immediately walked right up to Phil, patiently waited for an outstretched hand to lick, and from that, Phil has agreed to the following:

When I raise enough money to sponsor 1 veteran or their family member to attend Archie Foundation's 8-week Hoofbeats for Veterans program - $3,500,  he will not only ride a horse for the first time, but he will let us Facebook Live it on Archie's FB page www.facebook.com/archiefoundation !

The next semester of classes begins the week of September 10th.  So help me get Phil to overcome his fear of horses and most importantly, enable another veteran to experience the healing power of horses as I have.

Thanks in advance!
