Peter's Medical Journey

Thanks for visiting! A little background on Peter for those of you that aren't aware: Peter has a bone-related disorder called Hereditary Multiple Exostosis. What this means is that he has bony growths that can pop up throughout his skeleton. He has had many surgeries in the past to remove those impeding his mobility, and the chance for these growths, or tumors, to become cancerous is extremely rare.

In the fall of 2020, Peter had a pre-cancerous tumor removed from his hip. Unfortunately, this tumor grew back and became cancerous. He is currently scheduled to have the tumor removed and hopefully enter into complete recovery!
