Send me to ACDA All National Choir

My name is Peter, and I'm a high school senior at Lawton MacArthur High. I have always been what you call a "choir kid". Being able to sing, or being in choir, is not always the coolest thing, but to me it is. I recently auditioned for the ACDA All National Honor Choir. Many people don't understand how much of an honor it is to be selected for this, but over 5,000 people audition from around the USA and only about 200 are selected. Lucky for me, I was one of those 200. When I received the news, I was ecstatic! Unfortunately, my happiness was short lived. After telling my family about it, they decided that they just couldn't fit it in the budget. My family has always been strapped for money but somehow still manages to send me to all of my state honor choirs. I guess you could imagine how devastated my mom was when she told me they couldn't pull it off this year.  However, being as determined as I am, I turned to GoFundMe. So, I am asking you to please find it in your heart to donate as much as you can. I know that this time of year is hard for many people, but please consider it. This money will pay for me and my mother’s plane ticket, the hotel expenses, and food. I need the money by February 12, and I need your help.
