DR. MARGIE GANZ is home! She has returned home following a month of hospitalization and physical rehab after experiencing several falls. Spelman sisters in the US and abroad have rallied to express our appreciation and love for her with visits, cards, flowers, texts and calls. She's been overwhelmed by our loving response to her health challenges.
Now that she's home, she is unable to get around easily to prepare meals for herself. If you know Dr. Ganz well, you know she loves amazing cuisine - from Italy and elsewhere. We've found just the right PERSONAL CHEF SERVICE to prepare and deliver meals to Dr. Ganz each week for her first 8 weeks at home. With your support, Morehouse brother Jarvis Belton (chefjarvisbelton.com) will deliver freshly prepared gourmet meals to Dr. Ganz weekly, refrigerating her meals at her home. Meals are $114/week x breakfast, lunch & dinner. Cost includes delivery personally by Chef Jarvis. $3,000 will cover 8 weeks of 3 fresh meals per day + GoFundMe service fee.
Spelman sister India Gary-Martin (C'91) and I will get our meal service support going by funding the lunch & dinner for the first week. Please join us with whatever support you can afford. whether $5 or $500 we are grateful for every penny. DR. GANZ helped thousands of us explore the world over her 36 years at Spelman. Let's help her recover by bringing the world to her through Chef Jarvis' meals - Italian, French, US Southern, etc. food is on the way to Dr. Ganz.
