Perry Martin's Lung Transplant

Perry Martin was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2015 resulting in the need for a double lung transplant. Once diagnosed a person has only 5 to 7 years to live. With new lungs his life would be prolonged for an additional 10 years.

Due to this condition, Perry can no longer work and has been on disability for a year. He was employed with Anheuser Busch/Standard Distributing for 18 years who recently terminated him leaving him with no insurance. He has been removed from the transplant list until he has new medical insurance. The costs for private insurance is extremely expensive and with no insurance he will be unable to have the transplant. 

Without insurance, the cost of a double lung transplant can reach close to $800,000. He is required to have pulmonary therapy twice a week which he pays out of pocket currently at 75.00 a visit.

With the funds donated, Perry would be able to afford insurance and be placed on the transplant list. Any donation would be greatly appreciated by Perry and his family!
