Peregrinacion a Haramara, Marakame Antonio Carrillo

Cada año, miles de personas de la comunidad Wixárika en Jalisco, Zacatecas, Durango y Nayarit en México, realizan una peregrinación hacia el lugar sagrado de Haramara, en Tepic Nayarit, Este viaje de más de 400 kilómetros, se lleva a cabo por diversos medios. Este año, la peregrinación será dirigida por Antonio Carrillo, quien ha sido gobernador tradicional durante 1 año y es un respetado mara’akamé (guía espiritual que sabe soñar y sanar). Él nos está pidiendo su apoyo para ayudar a transportar a familias enteras en este importante recorrido sagrado y para entregar las ofrendas correspondientes al año 2025.

La peregrinación está programada para el mes de Mayo, Junio, cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, será de gran ayuda. Estamos recaudando fondos para poder rentar 1camion y furgonetas, así como para llevar comida, agua y otros artículos esenciales para la comunidad. Durante miles de años, el pueblo Wixárika ha mantenido viva esta tradición sin interrupciones, y con su apoyo, podrán continuar con ella una vez más este año.

Every year, thousands of people from the Wixárika community in Jalisco, Zacatecas, Durango and Nayarit, Mexico, make a pilgrimage to the sacred site of Haramara, in Tepic, Nayarit. This journey of more than 400 kilometers is accomplished by various means. This year, the pilgrimage will be led by Antonio Carrillo, who has been a traditional governor for a year and is a respected mara'akamé (spiritual guide who knows how to dream and heal). He is asking for your support to help transport entire families on this important sacred journey and to deliver offerings for the year 2025.

The pilgrimage is scheduled for May and June; any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. We are raising funds to rent a truck and vans, as well as to bring food, water, and other essential items to the community. For thousands of years, the Wixárika people have kept this tradition alive without interruption, and with your support, they will be able to continue it once again this year.
