As many of you have heard, Peggy passed away unexpectedly on Sunday. The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to help with Peggy's final expenses and support for her family during this difficult time.
Those who knew Peggy know that the last thing she would ever want to be is a burden to the family she loved so very much. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
Peggy Lynn Grice, 65, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at her home in Albany. Oregon.
Peggy was born in Albany to Emil Martin and Judith Todd on December 29, 1952. She graduated from Albany Union High School in 1971 and lived in Albany her entire life.
She married her high school sweetheart, Jimmy Grice, on June 15, 1974.
Peggy worked in the medical field for over 30 years retiring from Samaritan Health in 2014.
She loved all music but especially enjoyed attending country music concerts along with camping, and her pet chickens. Most of all, Peggy loved her family. She always put their needs before hers. Her humble spirit endeared her to many and her ability to listen with kindness, compassion and self-deprecating humor will be remembered fondly.
Peggy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jimmy and her children, Amber and Megan Grice of Albany. Her sisters, Cheri Crocker and companion Mark Ramsdell of Albany, Elaine Farvour and her husband Bob of Kelso, Washington, Toni Noble and companion Barry Webb of Everett, Washington, Traci Fry and husband Robert of Scio, and Amanda Wyninegar of San Antonio, Texas; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother Jan Martin, and brothers Thomas Wyninegar and Dennis Martin of Albany, Oregon.
A celebration of life will be at the Riverside Community Grange Hall on June 2, 2018 TBA.
