Peggy & Bill Leete
Don protégé
Peggy and Bill have always given back and been such a light in the lives of all who know them. A couple months back Bill became ill with a virus that has left him paralyzed from the chest down. He is now working very hard at a rehab facility outside of Atlanta to learn to live with their new normal.
Once they return home, they will have to transform their lives to create a handicap accessible environment in their home which also includes new transportation (a handicapped accessible van). The home renovations will include adding a lift to enter the home, handicapping the bathroom and doorways in the house, purchasing a new bed as well as a motorized wheelchair. These are just a few of the huge life changes the Leete's are about to experience.
As you can imagine, nobody prepares for this sort of thing. Peggy has said "it's amazing how your whole life can just change in an instant." She's right, sometimes change is good and sometimes change is rough. Peggy and Bill are choosing to focus on the good parts of this change and you can help with that by providing a bit of financial assistance with a donation. Thank you.
