Paying Tribute to Joel Raczkowski

June 23, 1982 - November 12, 2022

The family is shocked and saddened by this loss and unfortunately not financially prepared as this was unexpected. If you knew Joel, you’d know how much he touched the lives of everyone around him with his love for the outdoors, unique sense of humor & easy going personality. You'd also know how much of a lifelong Habs fan he was! He was such a good person and will be severely missed.

It’s now our turn to give back and help Hazel & their family as they deal with the loss of Joel.

I am raising money to assist with the transportation of Joel's body to the University of Ottawa (Joel's wishes were to have his body donated to science). There's a possibility that he may not be eligible for the donation and in that case, the money will go to his cremation and other expenses to finalize his departure and ease Hazel & their family's loss.

My name is Erin and I am an honorary Godmother to Joel's only child, Hazel (Gavin). I am also Hazel's mother's best friend. I've been given permission from the family to start this Go Fund Me. With your help, we can cover any necesary costs associated with his passing and help take the weight of the world from off their shoulders in this sad and overwhelming time.
