Paul Takeda Memorial

For those who know me well, I very rarely ask for help. My “son” Gabe lost his father unexpectedly on Monday and is struggling not only emotionally but financially. His father was responsible for his disabled mother and sister whom he lived with as cared for. As Gabe is his only child, the responsibility falls on him to pay for funeral costs and to help his Grandma and Auntie survive until there’s a plan in place for them to downsize and receive care. He is such a loving and responsible young man to take on this task, but he’s struggling. The money from our goal would directly pay for his father’s cremation and rent for his relatives for July. 
Gabe is the son of my best friend that has become like one of my own children. He is hardworking, big hearted and such a joy to be around. His heart is hurting and so much responsibility has landed unexpected in his lap. If we can help alleviate his immediate need for his father’s funeral expenses, it will allow him to concentrate on helping his Grandma and Auntie and to begin the grieving process.
