Details on the Previous LLL
The goal here is to crowdfund a brunch for the GGG employees who are working on launch day of the new league.
This year will be a bit different, I'll be raising money on GoFundMe to pay for the lunch starting now until the end of September.
However, Auckland is currently on a level 3 lockdown which means GGG is working from home, and they would not be able to have shared food in the office until the lockdown is lowered to a level 1.
Because of this, and concerns about what to do with excess funding, I have added a charitable aspect to this league's fundraising. Any additional money raised above the cost of the food, or the entire amount in the event of being unable to feed GGG will go towards a local Auckland charity or split among a few.
The donation will be made with whatever funds have been raised by the end of September and I will make a reddit post with the details.
Edit: As we've exceeded the cost of the lunch, I'll be making one or more donations to Auckland City Mission (suggested by Bex) in the name of the POE community.
