Pam Lefcourt car accident (rear ended on I95)
Don protégé
My mother Pam Lefcourt was in a horrible car accident on the morning of October 22 at 4:30a.m. while driving her friend to the airport. Moms car was rear ended on I95 by a young man driving at a high rate of speed. Fortunately for Mom’s friend she supposedly was not injured per the officers at the scene. Mom on the other hand has suffered many injuries including Brian Bleeds, Brain Sheering, broken ribs, injured ligaments in her neck, and a collapsed lung. Mom’s recovery is going to be very long and will require a lot of skilled people to assist. Mom really hasn’t wakened since the accident her eyes open but she’s not responsive. Mom was transferred to a long term acute hospital this evening 11/4/19 and the average stay is around 3-6 weeks and then Medicare will move her to a skilled nursing facility. My sister Nancy has found out that Medicare In Massachusetts is better and is considering getting her transferred up by her plus we have a lot more family up there to support mom in this horrible situation.
Mom Loved playing pickle ball with her friends, she also enjoyed Tai Chi, Mahjong, attending and volunteering at church and spending time with friends.
Pam has 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
We Andrew & Nancy (Pam’s son and daughter) and Christina (Andrew’s wife) will do our best to keep you up to date.
Thank you all for your support!
