Pam Buckner!

August 3, 2015 Pam was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, caused by a gene mutation. She was cancer free June of 2017, however the gene mutated again and the chemo pills were not working anymore. They changed the chemo pills and she’s been intolerant of the amount, so the they have had to stop and decrease her dose. Her MRI on March 13th showed 15 brain lesions causing her to stutter and slurr speech. She was put in the hospital in Lubbock for 2 days and is now working on her last 4 days of a 15 day radiation treatment. It's not a fun process. She is unable to drive or stay by herself because she has problems seeing, but her spirit is amazing and she is a fighter! She said “ Ya know what, I'm loving the bald head and I have Jesus on my side I have way too much to live for, to let this get me down or beat me!” What a true testament of faith.
