Please help this sweet boy!

Hi, my name is Kelsey and I am starting this fundraiser for my dear friend Liz. On Saturday morning Liz was walking her sweet Yorkshire terrier, Jean Pierre, when they were viciously attacked by another dog.

Luckily, Jean Pierre is a fighter and survived the attack. He suffered several broken ribs, countless contusions, puncture wounds, and a broken femur. He underwent surgery at Blue Pearl animal hospital in Rockville, MD where they were unable to save his leg which was subsequently amputated.

Jean Pierre has a long road to recovery and the hospital bills have already reached over $14,000. Liz is a selfless nurse who would give the shirt off her back to help someone else. She has spent her life taking care of others and I’m hoping to help her with this financial burden by creating this for her. Her dogs are like her children and she would give her last dime to save them.
