Hello, my name is Vianela. I’m a full-time junior college student from Miami, and I’m reaching out to ask for help for my 4-year-old kitty Omar.

Recently Omar started showing signs of pillow foot, and despite two visits to the vet, he hasn't improved. We were prescribed Prednisolone, but it didn’t seem to make a difference. During his second appointment, the vet recommended that he undergo a blood-based allergy test, which can cost anywhere from $500 to $1,000, not including the cost of medications and further treatment.

My mother and I are doing everything we can to care for Omar, but unfortunately, we currently can't afford the necessary tests and treatments to help him recover as we’ve just spent hundreds on his last two vet visits. His paw is still swollen, and we’re worried about his health.
