"Our Only Car Destroyed by Deer. Can you Help?"

Elizabeth Massie here. Alas. A deer has destroyed Cortney Skinner's and my only mode of transportation, our used 2012 Toyota Camry (which we are still paying for.) On the 4th of July, we were heading home on Route 254 when some folks nearby were setting off fireworks and, frightened by that (we are fairly sure) a deer leapt out into the road and smashed the front our car. The hood is crunched, the radiator damaged, the grille gone, the body of the front of the car on both sides knocked askew, and some internal damage that affects as far back as the rear of the car. We'd hoped against hope that it would be repairable but the insurance company, after thorough investigation, has declared it totaled. The first photo shows just a tad of the damage, with the "lovely" deer hair still stuck in there.

We need to be able to get back on the road. That means paying off the Toyota before we can get a loan on a new (used) one. Though we hesitate to ask for help, we're asking for help. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and we'll love you forever!!!
