Meet Jordan

She's a loving wife to John and a devoted mommy to their little love bug, Noah. Jordan is not only an avid crafter and artist but also a passionate dancer who finds joy in expressing herself through graceful movements. However, her life took an unexpected turn in mid-May when she underwent a routine colonoscopy, revealing a tumor that was confirmed to be cancerous. Jordan's courage and determination have been unwavering as she and her family face this challenging health journey head-on.

A Brave Battle:

Since the diagnosis, Jordan has been relentlessly fighting cancer that has been encroaching on surrounding muscle groups and spreading to four of her lymph nodes. Thankfully, the cancer is still localized, and there's hope for a successful treatment journey. She has been undergoing a series of scans and consultations with specialists to develop a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to her needs.

Road to Recovery:

The path ahead for Jordan is not an easy one, but with your support, we can make a significant difference. On July 12th, she began her radiation treatment, and the oncologist will be working closely with her to determine the most effective chemotherapy plan. The rough plan at this point includes just over five weeks of chemo and radiation, followed by a few months of continued chemotherapy. A short break before surgery will give her some time to regain her strength for the next phase of her battle.

Facing Financial Strain:

While Jordan fights this fierce battle, her loving husband, John, has had to make some difficult decisions at work to be by her side. Unfortunately, due to the nature of his new job, he lacks sufficient PTO/Sick time off, leaving him with no choice but to take unpaid leave to support Jordan through this challenging time. The burden of medical bills, treatment expenses, and daily living costs has become overwhelming for the Groom family.
