Orsett Primary School PTA

Orsett PTA are fundraising alongside the children in KS1 to be able to provide an air con unit for class 2 and books for the new phonics programme Wandle for KS1. The PTA will be mostly paying for these items but any donations from the community & parents would be gratefully recieved so that we can continue to provide things for the school as usual.

Class 2’s classroom gets extremley hot in the summer months and the children cannot sit there comfortably and work and therefore have to move to the hall for learning which isnt ideal so we would like to fund 1 air con unit to make the classroom more comfortable before the nice weather starts so they can continue learning in their class this will benefit all future year 2 classes going forward too.

KS1 phonics programme- the school have changed their phonics programme and have spent alot of money funding this, additional books are required at a large cost to ensure that the new system can be used at home as well as at school so PTA would like to help in providing these extra books to continue learning.

Any donation is very much appreciated by Orsett School and our aim as Orsett PTA is to raise funds to enable the best for the children and their education
