Our community is calling you for action!
Last Saturday November 17th, our close family friend for over 30 years Romel Akrouche passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Romel leaves wife Kristin and their three sons: Omar (20), twins Simon (17) and Isaac (17).
Two of their sons, Simon and Isaac are juniors in High School in Orange County, CA and their eldest son Omar attends college at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. We know that with all the emotional turmoil there is also the very harsh reality of financial burden. Kristin is a single mom, working two jobs to afford to keep a roof over their heads. During this season, we are calling everyone to donate as much as they can to this family. We hope this campaign will be able raise $15,000 to cover basic household expenses and laying Romel to rest.
Our family knows first hand how important community is when catastrophe strikes, we hope you'll consider helping this family this holiday season. Everyone can find themselves in this situation. Lets show the Akrouche family that our community is strong, united and caring.
