Help my fur baby walk again

This week we received some devastating news about our beloved fur baby George. He’s only 2 years old, and is suffering from a debilitating deterioration of the ligaments in his back legs. His mobility is deteriorating and If we don’t get it taken care of, he will soon be unable to walk. This is devastating for any dog, but as a 145 pound gentle giant, our sweet Great Dane George faces even more challenges. The vet tells us it will cost over $5000 per leg (his left leg is nearly gone….the right is following quickly). We are heartbroken. Like many San Francisco flats, our building has many stairs. George is a member of our family and we can’t even fathom life without him. We are doing everything we can to try to pay for his surgery, but it’s proving difficult. We would be utterly and entirely grateful for any help, support or positive thoughts and prayers sent our way during this very difficult time.With your kindness and support we hope we can get our sweet baby back to being his fun-loving playful self so he can live a long and happy life.
