Steve “Opie” Redell

Steve is back home  for his last days with Myelofibroisis, a rare leukemia. His parents and sisters have come to Texas to support his young wife and boys (ages 10 & 4). His family will soon face a whole new unknown world without him. We would like them to know the one thing they don’t have to worry about for a while is paying off medical bills (including a $6,000 insurance deductible that began August 1st), funeral expenses, and general living expenses.

Monday night, Melissa posted on her small town’s social media requesting a couple balloons on their mailbox for Steve to see when he came home. She also mentioned that their 5-year Wedding Anniversary was in just a few days away (4), yet more than he was given (just 2). And to ignore her front lawn, lol
Strangers stopped by with balloons that night and ALL DAY yesterday. Seriously. Easily at 100 people so far.
