Our sweet Svea-Jade was diagnosed with moderate to large heart murmur (VSD) at just 3 weeks old. She was immediately put on heart failure medication. After 20 months of monitoring her growth and the size of the murmur, it has become time for her to have Open Heart Surgery on February 8th as the murmur hasn't produced any progress towards healing and her growth has plateaued. We are unable to stay at the Ronald Mcdonald house due to availability and with the short notice. We are asking for help as We are having to get a week long stay at the nearby University place hotel since we live almost 2 hrs away and pay for our food and any follow up visits in the weeks after ,moderately priced but still hard for us to achieve on our fixed income as my husband is vision impaired disabled. We have had several of our amazing community members ask how they can help and were encouraged to get a fundraiser going if your unable to help please just share it thank you all so much
