Oosterhuis Family Fire Relief Fund

Hi, my name is Elizabeth Stephens. My husband and I are very close friends with Celia and Raphael Oosterhuis. As many of you already know, their home/property was struck by wildfire in the Oak Grove fire in San Marcos, TX on Saturday. They received a call from a neighbor to get out immediately and were able to get their 2 daughters, cat, dog, and horse out just in time. Her husband Raphael was routed through flame and smoke, past fire crews blocking the road. He had to off-road with their horse and trailer in tow. A completely unimaginable experience. Their five-acre little slice of Texas heaven has been burned to the ground. They lost their detached garage/gym, horse barn, hay shed, as well as their well, septic, and electricity. By the grace of God, their home is still standing, but will require some additional and costly repairs due to the smoke and heat. We want to reach out and ask for your prayers and gracious donations for this hardworking family of four.  Celia is a local school teacher in Hays CISD and her husband is a proud US Army veteran. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the firefighters and all emergency personnel who are involved in putting out this devastating fire. 

All money will be given directly to Celia and Raphael.
