In September 2014 we received devastating news from our pre-school in El Salvador. Centro Hogar, a pre-school in San Salvador, will no longer receive support for scholarships from their donors in Sweden. This is a major loss for the school, given that so many children need scholarships. Now, 37 preschoolers are at risk of not going to school. In an environment crowded with gangs, poverty, drugs, human trafficking and sexual exploitation, Centro Hogar gives these children and their families a chance to have a better future.
Programa Velasco needs funding for at least 37 children to attend the pre-school and receive the protection, health benefits and education from this special place. We have been working with this community in San Salvador since 2007. We deeply appreciate your support for these children. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
