Help a KAHS student take a trip to Germany!

My name is Rick Hadley, German teacher at Kutztown Area School District. Several of my students and I have been working hard for the past two years to organize a trip to Germany for this coming summer. The exchange program that we have set up is designed to provide students with an immersive language experience with host families in Kassel, Germany.

One of my students, who is hoping to join us on the trip, has run into some very difficult times. Her father, who suffers from a heart condition, has been unable to work since July 2022 and was recently given only months to live. My student is a very hard worker and has taken a leadership role in both planning our trip and our fundraising efforts. Reaching the $4,500 goal would cover all current costs associated with the trip, as well as most, if not all, of the incidental costs we would encounter while in Germany.
