Hello, I'm Joseph Osei-Bonsu, writer and director of the short film, On a Beautiful, Wonderful Day.

Traversing underneath the Atlantic Ocean in West Africa, through to the skies in a sculpture garden in New Jersey, right down to a lonely cabin in upstate New York, this short will take audiences on a mesmerizing journey with its impressionistic blend of West African history, its unique take on contemporary American life, as well as its undertones of a declining America. Above all, On a Beautiful, Wonderful Day celebrates the supernatural union of two completely different people in completely different walks of life.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback I got a week ago after the film's private screening in a theatre in South Orange, New Jersey buttressed this feeling.
