This beautiful young soul, Larry, a senior at Milpitas High tried to commit suicide in December of 2014. I have always remembered him to be a polite, sweet & gentle boy loved by many. Larry was in a coma at San Jose Regional Medical & suffered severe brain damage . Doctors indicate he may never recover from his injuries. He is being transferred to a rehabilitation center in Marin county, more than an hour away from home - the only place accepting his current medical coverage. His mother, a single mom working at a small beauty shop, comes to see him before and after work daily and now must find a way to commute & care for him.
